Can you believe

it has been six days already since I have last posted. This days post will be a short plug on what I think is a good idea. I try to play golf. The emphasis on that last sentence was try. I am not very successful but I don't have the time or money to put into furthering my skills.

Enter the internet. The internet, and more specifically youtube, has created an avenue for golf tips in video form to find an audience and create the opportunity to help people like me.

If you are like me and don't feel like searching through all the garbage on youtube, you can visit, a website dedicated to enhancing the golf skills of novice golfers through online training tips.

After watching these and signing up for yahoos fantasy golf league, you may even fantasize about going pro. Well once your wife snaps you back to reality, you can rest assured that you will be able to find your fantasy trophies at Bux-Mont Awards, even if you can never get the real thing, these trophies are made for your intense level of competition.

Bux-Mont Awards Harleysville and Sellersville Store Hours

So we have a couple retail stores tucked away in some beautiful corners of the South Eastern Pennsylvania Counties of Bucks and Montgomery Counties. There are some nice parts of Pennsylvania, for those of you who don't get out this way much. We are a friendly sort of people that genuinely care and want to help each other get along. Though once again I got off track slightly I have not forgotten the reason I am here. Store hours are as follows:

Monday: 8:30 - 5:00
Tuesday: 8:30 - 5:00
Wednesday: 11:00 - 5:00
Thursday: 8:30 - 7:00
Friday: 8:30 - 7:00
Saturday: 9:00 - 1:00
Sunday: CLOSED

Monday: 12:00 - 6:00
Tuesday: CLOSED
Wednesday: 12:00 - 6:00
Thursday: 8:30 - 7:00
Friday: 8:30 - 7:00
Saturday: 9:00 - 1:00
Sunday: CLOSED

don't think that because we are closed on a Tuesday and open at twelve Mondays and Wednesdays in Harleysville that we aren't working. I run the Bux-Mont Awards Harleysville store and can assure you that when I am not there I am over in Sellersville filling orders or at home working on the website. We always make time for you our customers and we try to have hours that work for you. Understandably as much as we would like to we know that some of these hours are not going to work for some of you. That is why we make ourselves available within limits to work with you to meet your needs. We will meet you most any time to fulfill your awards requests. Why? Because it's what we like to do. We also have an online store and our website has a vast informational section that grows bigger each day.

Happy Birthday Dad!

I would like to take this time to wish my father, the owner of Bux-Mont Awards, a very happy birthday. He is 55 years young today and though he maybe starting to show his age slightly still acts as young as the day I met him 26 years ago. (sorry dad, just joshin, don't be mad)

He is a well accomplished man and one that I look up to in oh so many ways. The reigning Sellersville citizen of the year started Bux-Mont Awards out his basement with little more than an idea and turned it into a successful business 16 years later with two thriving locations and a growing web presence that helps his customers succeed in properly recognizing achievements.

I can only hope to accomplish as much in my life as my dad did in his first 30 years on this planet, and he one of the few genuinely honest, caring, and sincere people I have had the joy of sharing this life with, and on top of that I get to have him as my dad.

So I hope that he had a happy birthday, and I hope that everyone who has not had the chance to talk or meet with him will have the opportunity to do so sometime in the near future. He is great to talk to, and will welcome conversation with anyone. From his Bux-Mont Awards family, Happy Birthday!!

Stained Glass Medals

These stained glass medals are a great way to recognize team achievement! At 3.50 per medallion this product is a great deal!

These medals come in gold, silver, or bronze. A neck ribbon is included in the price. Also included in the price is a digitally imprinted plate in full color on the back. Describe your event in full color with these medals!!

I cannot believe the week got away from me like it did. I am still going to post all that great stuff, just not right yet! Sorry everyone.

I would, in the meantime, like to tell you about an upcoming update to our website.

We have this special process available to us, a digital imprinting process, that we utilize in our plaques and other awards to bring our customers a unique option for their awards and recognition products.

This digital imprinting allows us to provide you, our customers, with full color imprinting on your awards at less of a cost than engraving. It doesn't look as high class, which is bad, but it does portray your brand colors, which is good.

I will be working hard to put these award samples and pricing online in short time. Hopefully tomorrow, but there is a chance that I may get busy and not be able to get it done by tomorrow, rest assured it is coming soon.

The problem I have when trying to put these awards online is I do not have a shopping cart set up so it's hard to order online, though if you are interested in these plaques we recommend you order through email, over the phone, or in person because there is a lot of information we need to get off of you.

Our goal is to make it easy on your to order and we want to make information flow freely to you to accomplish our goal and giving you the best awards at the lowest cost. More to come so keep your eye out!

High School Sports Line

Scholar Athelete and MVP Plaques

This post is to highlight a line we are rolling out for the high school sports teams. The recognition piece is a plaque. We use the traditional plaque and couple it with a digitally imprinted full color plate that showcases the schools logo and the award name. Presenting these at your banquet helps your school properly recognize achievements and keeps your children on the path towards positive growth.

People sometimes do not like to change their recognition program because it's what they have been doing for some time or it's always what they have had, but these plaques have only become feasible in recent months. Save yourself money and give kids a new updated award that serves it's purpose. Prices as low as 7.50 for the smallest size and 17.50 for 7 x 9's

Only available in stores. Some art charges may apply. Mention this blog for special pricing.

Winetastings can be quite the event that everyone should enjoy. At the same time it is equal parts educational and exciting. Bux-Mont Awards offers many products that winemakers can utilize to enhance their brand and sell more wine. (wouldn't that be nice!) We have wine and cheese accessories, from engraveable cheese knives to whole cheese sets. Below we will highlight our engraving and a imprinted cheese set available to order.. These are all products from our promotional line, and, along with our wine bottle engraving capabilities, would make great secondary products to a wine festivals fantastic Wine.

A great way to increase wine sales is through a limited edition engraved wine bottle. Bring in your wine and let us engrave your logo or quote directly onto the bottle. Labels fade but engraving lasts forever. The personalized bottle is an excellent way to increase the value of a limited number of special wines. Keep your wine in the front of your customers minds for a long time!

Cheese Lovers Set:
Another great engravable item is the Cheese Lovers Set. This 4-piece set includes a premium bamboo cutting board (harder than maple); at 9 7/8 x 8 1/4 x 9/16" thick. 8" Cheese knife, 7 1/4" cheese cleaver, and a 7 1/2" cheese plane. The Cheese tools feature mirror finish stainless steel blades, hollow ground endges, full tang through handle, and black bakelite handles with three rivets.

Among other things, we can also put a full color imprint on tiles to make a great gift, and we have the ability to embroider and imprint a variety of apparel.

With your logo on these, your wine aficionados are sure to add this to their collection. If you are in Bucks, Montgomery, or the surrounding area, and want to give a unique Valentines Day gift or you are looking to purchase complimentary products with your logo on them to compliment your wine selection to sell at the upcoming Brandywine Valley Wine Festival, then you should give us a call.

Monday Youth Sports Banquet Tips

The youth sports banquet is often times the last chance a team has to get together at the end of the season. When done properly end of season banquets reinforce the overall goals of youth sports organizations.

Things like hard work, team work, effort, practice, and leadership are all reinforced here. Most importantly though kids learn that the team they practiced and built bonds with throughout the course of the season really helped them to learn to have fun, win or lose, and to also try to get better each and every day. Learning that nothing comes easy is a tough lesson that can be made easier through participation in youth sports, and the year end banquet can help reinforce the good times and the benefits of the struggle and growth throughout the year.

A great way to help ensure your banquet is successful is to have a coach or team mom come up and say some words about something special that happened to the team throughout the season. A highlight real playing during dinner and seating can be a fun ice breaker and something nice for the parents to look at.

One important thing to do is to solicit volunteers for the tasks of gathering pictures and also for developing the power point presentation. You don't want to be stuck doing everything in the banquet and having parents volunteer, while tough, can be a great way of building support throughout the organization.

If you are giving away participation awards, keep a couple things in mind. You don't want to go over board. Do not break the organizations budget on over-the-top awards. You don't want to give them .45 cent plastic trophies from oriental trading, but at the same time you don't want to recreate the Heisman either. Bigger trophies were not intended to be given as participation awards. Something small, like a medal or a figure on a base is appropriate. Depending upon the size and funding of your organization you are going to want to stay somewhere in the 2.00 - 6.00 range.

If you need help selecting trophies. There are sites out there that allow you to build your own. And a lot of trophy shops have access to a wide range of awards choices. Some companies even allow you to use your organizations custom logo on your awards. Using a digital sublimation process, you can put your logo on a custom disc that then goes into a figure made specially for these inserts. Putting sponsor logos on awards is a great way to entice sponsors to help support your league.

In the coming days we will be showcasing some great cost effective resins and various awards that can be used as Basketball Participation Awards and wrestling participation trophies.

Online Store

Our online store features a fantastic feature that I will be highlighting here. At we have incorporated a great build your own trophy feature. What this enables you to do is create a truly personalized award that you can call your own. You control everything from the initial design and colors to the personalization of the plates.

If you are looking for a figure that we don't have you have the option of using your logo with one of our mylar holders or plaque holders. The best part of this is you can add full color personalization with our digital imprinting feature.

Another great feature of this online store is instant support and additional savings. By making the trophies for your upcoming youth sports banquet truly unique you are saving your club money.

We will continue highlighting items and benefits of our online store so check back soon!

Bux-Mont Awards Harleysville has new hours

News and Information

To better serve you, we have altered our hours to include some earlier hours. As some of you may or may not know, Bux-Mont Awards is a small awards and recognition company owned and operated by original owner Greg Bencsik. In addition to Bencsik the two other full time employees are split between their Sellersville and Harleysville retail stores with another two part time employees that work at our Sellersville location.

The bulk of our product lines are manufactured or produced in our Sellersville store. Bencsiks son Daniel (thats me) has been working mornings in Sellersville and commuting in the afternoon over to the Harleysville store.

This created a problem. I would often get tied up helping out in our production needs and working with helping customers in Sellersville and it was hard for me to get over to Harleysville on time to open.

We hope we have found a solution to solve this problem and we welcome feedback and any thoughts on how we can help better serve you.

Store Hours:
Monday: 12:00 - 6:00
Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday: 12:00 - 6:00
Thursday: 8:30 - 7:00
Friday: 8:30 - 7:00

New Years Resolutions

For this New Year, the Bux-Mont Awards family hereby resolve the following:

1. To treat my customers with the same personalized attention and service to everyone that walks through our doors. Every person deserves the same level of respect and dignity, no matter how long they wait before coming in to order their awards.

2. To continue to strive for perfection when it comes to meeting your needs. We know that we can't please all the people all the time, but we would like to try and try we will. We will try our little butts off for every need big or small. We do a great deal of things in the bricks and mortar that make up Bux-Mont Awards, their two retail stores and one manufacturing facility. We can and will continue to meet your (skip to number 3 if you aren't ready for a pretty long run down of some of the things we are capable of) corporate awards needs, your engravables and industrial signage needs, your donor recognition needs, your corporate gift needs, your promotional product needs, your Christmas ornament and gift needs, and yes we will even meet your T-Shirt and apparel needs.

3. To keep our costs low as possible in order to offer you the best deals on the exact demands you may. It is neither cheap nor easy to be everything to everyone. There is something to be said for the people who can provide the most things to the most people as it is very hard. As is such referrals are greatly appreciated.

We know that we cannot be the sole provider for everyones awards, recognition, promotions, signage and apparel needs. It just can't happen. We can however refer back to number one and tell you that the service we can give you will be the very best. A great amount of time and energy goes into streamlining the way we do business in order to better serve you. Our pride is in being something to everyone, as that is exactly what we strive to be. Continually reeducating our work force enables us to have a better perspective and a greater understanding of your needs.

Everyone and everything deserves recognition. People and businesses alike. Our goal in this New Year and beyond is to ensure that our supporters know what it means to shop here. We want you to know that no matter what we will do are best for you.

We want to help youth sports organizations with their goal of building a solid foundation which aids in the health and wellbeing of future generations. At the other end of the spectrum we want to help organizations with retaining the high end

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday season and that you come back to work rejuvenated and ready to give it your all. You can rest assured that anything recognition questions you may need answered will get every last ounce at Bux-Mont Awards. We look forward to seeing you.
