Recognition programs work effectively

If you are a business owner of any size business, please talk to us about how a recognition program can help you reduce your employee turnover, increase productivity and better serve your customers.

Recognition programs work.  They work for non profits, for big corporations, and for small and medium size businesses.   Effectively recognizing the achievements of others offers many benefits, and with close to 100 years experience in recognition, the team at Bux-Mont Awards has what it takes to help your organization grow.

Please think about ways you can thank others and build a community around your organization.  Let us help. We offer free consultation and can help you create a program that works for you. Together we can all achieve great things, and I promise to do whatever I can to help.

We are all in this thing together, and we manufacture a good deal of our products right here in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.  Providing you with your recognition needs helps us not only put food on our families tables, but makes us feel good that we are doing great things by helping others do great things.

In the new year, my goal is to share some of our customers many amazing stories on this blog.  I am dedicated to devoting more time to sharing the stories of our customers with you so that you may learn and help effect the change in whatever it is you are trying to achieve.  We are here to help you!

In between Christmas and New Year we are taking the opportunity to renovate our work space in the Lansdale store.  We will be in and out so if you have a need please call or stop in, but beware that it may be a construction zone.

We look forward to sharing our progress with you and to update you regularly with new ways to help you meet your recognition needs in the new year.

Recognizing the Importance of The Holidays

As another year wraps up, Bux-Mont Awards has helped thousands in the Bucks and Montgomery Counties with their recognition needs throughout the past year.  Whether it was helping businesses big and small recognize the hard work of their dedicated employees in achieving the goals the company had set forth, helping recognize the achievements of little ones participating in organized youth sports and their tournaments or helping a business with their brand recognition, we have helped many this year meet their needs.

This is not always an easy task, especially with the limited resources we have to work with, but we take our jobs seriously, and without a dedicated staff of employees who are committed to helping serve others, we would never be able to achieve our goals of helping others achieve their goals.  Bux-Mont Awards is proud of our employees, without whom we wouldn't be here, and I wanted to take this post to personally thank them.

Debbie Koehler, our engraver extraordinaire who also wears many more hats has done an exceptional job in supporting Bux-Mont Awards.  She does an amazing job of answering the phones at our Sellersville store, meeting the engraving demands and helping out with the back office tasks and keeping the store as organized as possible.  She likes her ducks in a row and without that we wouldn't be able to meet our goals.

Brian Scholl, our trophy production, digital imprinting specialist, and sand etcher continues to answer the call on the many strenuous tasks we throw at him, and does an unbelievable job with helping customers and keeps the products going out the door as quickly as is imaginable.  He also provides us with an exceptional understanding on how to get things done, and does a wonderful job at processing the orders as they come in giving us the ability to get our customers their products quickly and efficiently.  Brian also wears many hats in the organization and has been an integral member of our team for a number of years now.

Matt Branning, our engraving specialist at our Lansdale store, continues to be a great asset to the company.  Since we bought Gerharts Engraving two years ago, Matt stayed with the organization and provides our customers with their engraving needs with a great eye to detail.  Matt has a knack for getting things done when they are needed and continues to provide our customers with an expert opinion on getting them exactly what they need.

These three our the best gifts a company could ask for throughout the year and we don't show them enough appreciation.  As a provider of awards and recognition services, they are the epitome of what we do here at Bux-Mont Awards.  While it's past the season of giving thanks, it should really be done all year round.  Thank you to our employees for making our business what it is; the premiere provider of trophies, plaques, awards, and recognition services in the Bucks, Montgomery and eastern Pennsylvania region.  Without you there is no we, and there is no I in team.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Free Recognition Consultation

It's been studied and proven that Recognition improves your bottom line, and since Bux-Mont Awards are a recognition services provider, I wanted to extend to you a great offer!

We are looking for businesses who are interested in helping grow their businesses in today's difficult environment.  Helping you recognize the achievements and hard work of your employees is something we take very seriously.  So today we are looking for 6 businesses that want to start a recognition program in their organization.  Bux-Mont Awards will offer you recognition consultation on developing and implementing an awards program in their office.  This is a 500.00 offer that you will receive at no cost to you.

With over 20 years experience with helping businesses of all sizes big and small to recognize the achievements of their employees and customers.  Money gets given and spent, but plaques and personalized awards are symbolic of the hard work that went into the achievement and will be forever used to remember the time place where these things were accomplished.  Life is difficult and hard work should not go unrewarded.

That said, plaques have a place and are not for everyone.  Just like personalized gifts aren't exactly right for every situation.  We will go through the process with you to ensure that your awards match the event so that the benefit for all involved is maximized.  If it is not working then we aren't doing our job, and we take our job seriously.

First six businesses to comment on this post will receive the recognition consultation at no cost to you.  Happy Monday!

If everyone stopped...

If, one day, you looked up from your work and noticed everyone around you is staring at the sky, what would you do?

Would you look up until whatever it was everyone was looking at appeared? Or would you get back to work on the task at hand?

If you are one of the ones who got back to work, leave a comment and let us know what you're working on.

I want to help those working move forward in their journey. Let's move forward together.

What are you building?

I've been thinking a lot about a lot lately. (I tend to do that at times) Planning is important, but all the planning in the world doesn't make a difference if the resources aren't available to implement these grandiose plans of yours.

I know what your thinking, "well that is a given," but businesses and organizations of all shapes and sizes are born everyday. Most are destined to return from where they came sooner rather than later.  Leadership is the entrepreneurial ability to make the most efficient uses of resources possible in order to add value and earn profit to a business but they can't do it alone.  Historically it was the old money given best odds at success due to the fact that they have the deep pockets most endeavors take.  The old adage it takes money to make money didn't appear out of thin air and for no reason now did it?

That said Benjamin Franklin and countless others since have proven that even the modest middle class can make a better life for themselves with the right mix of hard work, will and most importantly a little luck.

Technology and in turn the increase ability to communicate with ever larger numbers of people give us the ability to create solutions to problems and realize more opportunities than ever before.  But it was never done alone, the great leaders are the ones who can inspire the masses to come together and achieve great things.

All organizations, even the smallest ones are complex entities that are building something bigger than the individual.  The services and goods you provide today are the result of a ever more complex system of transactions that many fail to even realize.  We truly live in a global world, where we are each others neighbors.  Many problems faced today are of such a great magnitude that there is no other option than to work together to solve them.  It is amazing to me the amount of problems that are created each day, and moreover the sheer number of solutions happening every second.  Opportunities abound and if there is a will then I believe there is certainly a way.

And once this way of yours is found, you certainly will be best suited at implementing a recognition program as quickly as possible.  Finding ways to recognize those people who have helped you succeed or anywhere on your way to where you are planning on going is one tool that will enable you to get where your going quickest.

My job at Bux-Mont Awards is to make sure that any recognition needs you have are covered to help you maximize the benefits you receive from those helping you succeed.  What we are attempting to build is a recognition services company that hasn't previously, and we can't do it with out you.  In future posts we will explain the many benefits of Bux-Mont Awards that makes the company unique.

What do you think recognition is?  What types of recognition services do you utilize?  Recognition is like the Mortar that holds together the foundation.  What you get from us is the keystone of a business or organization that people want to be a part of.  Whether its corporate award plaques or pats on the back I think all forms of recognition are worthy of mention and encourage you to leave a comment and tell us the ways you use recognition every day as you lay the groundwork of your great idea.  We want space in your tool box!

Most creative use of recognition as judged by the staff at Bux-Mont Awards will get a prize!  What

Remaking Our Communities

The Chestnut St. Playground needs a makeover and an orgnanization has been created to help see that it happens.  Chestnut Street Playground Community CARES is graciously accepting donations and support now through April in hopes of raising $65,000 before breaking ground in early summer.

Chestnut Street Playground Community CARES is engaging the community to re-gentrify a playground in dire need of repair.  The playground has always been and continues to be the gathering place for children and families.  Over time, through heavy use, and with weather wear and tear the need to repair or replace the playground has only grown.

Highlighting the goals Chestnut St. Playground Community CARES is looking to achieve are as follows:
  • Handicap Accessibility:
    • Adaptive Seats with Belts 5 ft. wide black-top pathways for wheelchair and walker accessibility
  • Safe Equipment:
    • with pour and play matting
  • Learning Integration:
    • Music Maker with drums, rattles, wheels and more encourage learning and intellectual growth.  The play-set includes brail for the blind.  It has also been a wonderful piece for autistic children to participate in the fun.
To help support this great endeavor, many volunteers are going to great lengths to make this vision become reality.  To that end there are many opportunities for the public to participate and support the project, as well as sponsorship's for families or businesses who want to get involved.

There are many businesses and local community advocates working to create fundraising events.  For a listing of upcoming events please go here.

Individual donations are also being accepted.
