As Earth Day approaches, it's important to reflect on the ways that businesses can make a positive impact on the environment and the world around us. Here are just a few of the ways we are making a difference this Earth Day: Recycling and Waste Reduction: At Bux-Mont Awards, we believe in minimizing waste wherever possible. We have implemented a recycling program that finds ways to keep our waste out of landfills. We recycle our aluminum and brass scraps, and we send our cardboard to a non-profit that bales and sells it to fund programs that help developing countries meet basic needs. We also recycle all of our plastic bags and other light plastic materials that can't be recycled through our town's single stream recycling program, and these materials get made into benches and donated to various organizations. Sustainable Product Sourcing: We focus our sales on products that are easily reused or recycled, such as name badges vs. embroidered shirts, so that the shirt can be donated and reused. We also use particle board laminate plaques that come from a wood byproduct, and we source our products closer to home when possible. By using sustainable materials and partnering with eco-friendly suppliers, we are doing our part to promote sustainable practices throughout the supply chain. Environmental Awareness: We believe in educating our customers about the importance of environmental responsibility. We encourage them to make informed decisions about the products they purchase and to choose options that are aligned with our values. We also promote sustainable transportation by encouraging our employees to use modes of transportation that are environmentally friendly. Univest Grand Prix

The Univest Grand Prix is being held today. We are happy to say the awards they got were provided by us. This is the first race that we got to be a part of, and it really is an amazing show. I am watching the webstream provided by wfmz69 , and I hear that cycling.tv is going to be streaming the end of the race. There are over 22 reacing teams and 200 riders in this 107 mile race. The announcers do a great job and they really make it easy to understand and follow the sport of cycling. And then we get to watch tomorrows show in Doylestown as well! They talk about dynamics and I have seen a couple crashes, and they just went through Green Lane Park past the Scottish Irish Festival. A really neat way to be a part of the community. And they do it mostly with volunteers. Amazing, and the video is really spectacular. Much thanks to Univest and all the sponsors for providing such a great community event that we can all be proud of.
